Networking Events & Luncheons

We have a terrific and unique line-up of great opportunities on offer, allowing you to meet up with old colleagues and friends as well as establish new contacts and lay the groundwork for future business. These include:

  • Our traditional Icebreaker, Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, will held throughout the exhibits and poster areas
  • Fassler-Beer-SteinImmediately following the Icebreaker, a lucky few (only 200 tickets will be available and it’s first-come, first-served) will get to meet and greet tomorrow’s industry players during a Young Professionals-oriented “Bierfest” at Fassler Hall, an authentic German beer hall just four blocks from the Hyatt Regency; the party will run from 8:00 to 11:00 pm
  • The program portion of Monday, Oct. 5 will wrap up with a “mini-breaker” in the poster and exhibits area from 4:30 to 6:00 pm – time without competition from the oral sessions to pursue in-depth conversations with service-sector representatives and enjoy one-on-one time with the poster presenters
  • At 6:30 pm Monday join us on Guthrie Green, Tulsa’s new and award-winning urban green space in the heart of the Brady Arts District – museums, merchants, food trucks, beverages, and a screening of the California oil-rush saga, “There Will Be Blood”!
  • Everyone is invited to help close the exhibits with plenty of food and conversation from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 5 – if you aren’t already attending the DPA luncheon, come by and grab a box lunch

The Icebreaker, Mini-Breaker, all coffee breaks, and the closing “walk & talk” exhibit hall box lunch are all included with your registration. The Post-Icebreaker Bierfest is $30 per person and Monday’s Dinner & A Movie on Guthrie Green is $40 per person; tickets are available through pre-registration. But space is limited, so don’t delay!
